Loving Support from Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost
On behalf of God's people of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost (Saginaw), Pastor Mark Loest presented a gift of over $3,600 to OGTM Branch Manager Pastor Reed following services on Sunday, June 17. This initial benefit provides stable grounding in launching the Michigan initiative.
Roof to be Replaced on the Orphan Grain Train Michigan Center
Al Patrick of Marlette Roofing has inspected the upper portion of the Center's roof which needs replacing. The 1,800 sq. ft. portion above the apartment will be replaced in late summer.
Gifted with a New Work and Warehouse Facility
This spring the Lord provided an extraordinary gift through the generosity of Sally Comer. The former Satow's Home Furnishings building in downtown Sebewaing was an established family business for three generations. Through Sally's tremendous kindness the building has now been deeded to Orphan Grain Train Michigan.
The building provides 8,000 sq. ft. for volunteer energies and the warehousing of relief supplies. The building is sound but will need some TLC and insurance before general occupancy. Our gratitude overflows to God for guiding us to such a generous giver.
