We don't exactly know how we will lift a 16' Starcraft with its trailer and outboard motor into a shipping container, but that's the plan.
Judy Pries arranged to have this boat she donated brought from Boyne City to be stored until our loading for the Ev. Lutheran Churvh, South Sudan. The Concordia Lutheran Institute of Holy Ministry in Yambio is adjacent to a lake where a boat will be very useful for seminarians who must supply their own needs. Pictured here are Gene Soote who delivered the boat and Sal Brandenburg, our terrific warehouse manager.
Orphan Grain Train--Michigan has previously shipped 11,000 boxes of humanitarian goods to Eastern Europe, Central America, and Central Asia-- but never a boat. There's always a first for everything.
