Respected Name Retired

Satow's Home Furnishings was a respected business fixture in Sebewaing for many years. It's marque was retired today in advance of Orphan Grain Train--Michigan obtaining new signage. Our Michigan Branch of Orphan Grain Train remains indebted to the Sally Comer and her family for the the facility which will soon display the new name which we trust will also carry a name to know and support:

 Orphan Grain Train--Michigan.

250 Health Kits from Immanuel Children and Families, Bay City

On Friday, December 7, Jan LaRocque, Principal of Immanuel Lutheran School, Bay City, arrived with a car spilling over with 250 health kits assembled by Lutheran school children.  Funds for the kits were received from the generous people within the congregation and school community.  The kits will be distributed in cooperation and consultation with the Michigan District LERT program (Lutheran Early Response Team) when the inevitable crisis occurs and people are in need of basic hygiene supplies.  Thank you to Immanuel and their wonderful concern for others.
