Beautiful Quilts and Other Gifts from Our Alpena Friends

On April 6, Dennis and Beverly Neumann delivered gifts from
the Quilters Club of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Alpena
Other generous gifts for Orphan Grain Train were gratefully received.
God bless their generosity.

Very First Boxes Prepared

April 2 was an historic day at Orphan Grain Train--Michigan.  It was the occasion of filling our first humanitarian relief boxes.  Members of our pilot team were at the Center preparing the beautiful supply of quilts previously received from Hope Lutheran Church, St. Helen, and St. John Lutheran Church, West Branch.

Katie Sattleburg, Rebecca VanTol, and Karen Garrison were some of our pilot team thrilled to begin.
Fran Davis and Dave Wiltse tape and label one of the dozens of boxes carefully made ready.
Branch Manager, Pastor Dave Reed applies the first Orphan Grain Train label which will take these gifts to some special people elsewhere in the world.
