Michigan Hygiene Kit Project in Coordination with Thrivent, Immanuel Lutheran, and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League

On November 8-9, 2019 a special project occurred on behalf of Orphan Grain Train--Michigan.  A Thrivent Community Action Team in Alpena, Michigan engaged support which included students of Immanuel Lutheran School in preparing a total of 547 Hygiene Kits for those in need.  Orphan Grain Train sends such kits internationally to troubled regions where many people lack basic goods.  The day following the work in Alpena, a large number of volunteers of The Lutheran Women's Missionary League gathered at the Orphan Grain Train--Michigan Center in Sebewaing to box and prepare all those hygiene kits for shipment where needed.

In a few days Orphan Grain Train--Michigan will be loading a shipment of clothing, medical equipment, health kits, other humanitarian supplies including hygiene kits to a charity in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.  Many thanks to Thrivent Financial, Immanuel Lutheran, and the LWML for an exciting and rewarding project for the sake of those God loves in Christ.
