Nine Miles of Packing Tape

     You probably never wondered what exactly nine miles of packing tape looks like.  Now you know.  This is just one of the normal expenses for conducting the mercy mission of Orphan Grain Train.
     One case of 3-inch acrylic, 2.5 mil, heavy duty adhesive packing tape (each roll consisting of 110 yards) equates to exactly 15,840 feet (or three miles).
     Shown here are 144 rolls (three cases) just delivered.  Every operational day the constant sound of ripping boxing tape can be heard as boxes are prepared and as filled boxes are taped closed.  These rolls will last us until Fall.
